Local Delivery FAQ

How do your delivery dates work?

We deliver Monday - Friday 11am - 4pm. Please have your order in by 4pm the previous day if you would like next-day delivery. Please include any special instructions in the delivery notes during checkout.


How will my order stay cold?

All orders will be delivered in our refrigerated truck to ensure that they stay cold during transit.


Can I get delivery to an apartment, office or gated neighborhood?

Yes! Please include any gate codes, apartment numbers or other special instructions in your delivery notes.


Can I order a Grilled Cheese Sandwich to be delivered?

Items from our menu are made to order and best enjoyed when hot. Come to our Cheese Bar located in the Market at 7th Street to enjoy a sandwich or our Mac & Cheese. We validate parking for 2 hours when you park in the garage above the market. Or check out our catering menu for your event.


Can I modify an order?

To modify an order, please contact us by 4 PM the day before your selected delivery day at info@orrmanscheeseshop.com


Do I need to be home to receive delivery?

Yes, someone must be available to receive delivery of your order.


I won't be home during my delivery window, can you deliver my order earlier/later?

We realize that unplanned events occur and you may need to leave your home. We ask that you call our shop at 980-226-3025 so that we may try to accommodate the change. Please note re-delivery or restocking fees may apply.

For freshness, we cannot hold cheese & charcuterie boards or catering orders for delivery on another day. If your building has a front desk, you may authorize the staff to receive your order. For home deliveries, we recommend arranging for a trusted neighbor to accept your order if you won’t be home. Please ensure your neighbor can keep your perishable items cold until you can pick them up, and be sure to ask for their permission first and communicate with us where to leave the order.


Re-delivery or Restocking fees

If, for an unexpected reason, you are unable to be home at time of delivery please call us to see if we can accommodate the change. If the driver needs to leave the area to return to your address at a later time, we will need to charge an additional delivery fee or if your order qualifies for free delivery, we will need to charge a delivery fee.

In the event that no one is available at the second attempt, we must charge a restocking fee of 100% of the cost of the perishable items and 25% of the cost of packaged goods, excluding fees and tax.


I need to cancel my order, can you help?

If you need to cancel the order and we are notified after the cutoff time (after 4pm previous to your delivery day) we will have to donate or dispose of the perishable items and restock any boxed or jarred pantry items from your order. This will result in a restocking fee of 100% of the cost of the perishable items and 25% of the cost of packaged goods, excluding fees and tax.
