Smokey Blue
Rogue Creamery in Central Point, OR is known for making excellent blue cheeses. Smokey Blue is no exception. Cold-smoked for 16 hours over hazelnut shells imparts a mild smokiness for a flavor that could be described as candied bacon. The texture is creamy enough but can crumbled into an endive salad or enjoyed with a roasty dark beer.
